Jonathan Mitten, a striker, has, he's currently only one of two players confirmed but the manager has said a number of players have dropped divisions.

and the badge is on www.fc-utd.com
not bad.... they could have really gone for the ManU link and incorporated a red devil somewhere in it. its looks pretty decent. I still like arsenals the best

Ahhhh got back from Stratford! I was there when they announced us winning and cheered like mad when we did! Met a few friends in Stratford and we watched the (amateur) entertainment put on for the rest of the afternoon by the yoof of East London.

Also I got on BBC London news this afternoon in between two people being interviewed but I couldn't get a word in and the evening bulletin as well making a prat of myself and a few people rang me up saying they can see me on TV in the background as well and being asked for my thoughts on London winning for BBC World Service. (which ive just heard myself on!)

Also met Jade Johnson and Jason Gardner which is nice and somebody took the Newham mayor to task over the inevitable rise in council tax. A great day anyway - WE WON!

    GETTT IN!
I saw you! In between that man with the cap on, and another African man

its not to do with United being unsuccessful, its do to with Glazer taking over the club, forcing it into 500m debt, etc, and also because higher league football now is completely driven by money and greed. It is corrupt and has lost what is important about football.
So then why has it taken FC United 15 years to be set up?! The point about debt and success go hand in hand. There is no way the Glazer family can expect to make any money out of United without a succesful team on the pitch.

No one will care if Man United win the league or European cup next year and Glazer's buy-out will be viewed as a success.

Nah, she told em both not to shout/swear usual stuff and I just got myself in the middle uninvited - would have interrupted and said something but would be rather rude on live TV .

Besides, somebody had to look good for the cameras

Is there noone you can borrow a box from for the day?
I wouldn't want to damage it! He's not really ready anyway - still not back in proper work becuse they don't want to risk putting customers on him AND he's just lost a shoe and his foot is slowly but surely disintergrating...it's amazing how much vet's miss on a vetting - they didn't notice his crooked back or his rubbish hooves and now they're costing a fortune!!

davenport was silent for most of the final...only one or two outbursts.

unlike that screaming horse across the court.
She is exactly how a player shoul play tennis...only making the noises wen you really afre putingt hat bit of extra effort in to make an extrmeely hard shot. Nothing wrong with that, ut when you get the grutns on ordinary shots which take very littel effort then it just gets beyond a joke,.

The Sharapova/Williams semi was unbelievable. It almost had me laughin out loud at it. At least by the fianl Venu had calmed down somewhat Compared to Lindsay Davenport she was like a jet engine, but compared to herown performance in the semis she was near silent.

Still, as much as Venus deserved her win, Davenport deserved it even more.

what do you mean why has it taken 15 years to be set up? It's due to a culmination of factors. And the football business is at its worst right now.

The Glazer family could make money out of United, as well as casting long term damage to the club. How are they going to repay the debt? they're not, we, the fans are.

    People will care.

we could of but it would probably lead to them sueing us. Theres even a possibility with that badge, the stripes in the centre were used on an old United badge, although they actually come from the manchester coat of arms and were also used on an old city badge so I can't really see it.

My point is that Man United has been the epitomy of football worldwide commercialisation. They have [succesfuly] attempted to squeeze every single penny out of the working class fan base and everyone else world wide. Glazer is nothing new. All that will change is that the money Man United generate will line one man's pockets, 6 months ago it was lining the pockets of many people. Does anyone seriously believe McManus and Magner were in it for football? No, they were major shareholders in a large, succesful company to make money out of it. As was every single other shareholder.

Mr Glazer and his family are not fools. They're not self-made billionaires because they won the lottery. They are succesful businessmen. It is down right silly to think they'll invest £250m of their own money into a dark alley with a blindfold on. IF they manage to win their own tv rights deal after 2007 ( I think the date the current deal runs out) the debt will vanish. If United are succesful on the pitch (which is the basis of making money off it) the debt will start to eat away. United aren't skint, Ferguson will have money to spend on an already strong squad, if he is still the manager he once was he'll make United succesful again which will generate more funds and help eradicate more debt.

No one knows how succesful the Glazer's will be but 99% of United fans could care less how much debt the club is in if you once again have domestic and european success over the next 5 years. The problem with debt comes when the gamble doesn't pay off (a la Leeds) but that is as much down to Ferguson and his management team as it is with Glazer. I find it staggering how anyone can make a comment like

FC United won't wither away when MUFC start to be successful or buy some players, because 1)they most likely won't be successful
