The NHL Draft order is currently being revealed. Pittsburgh, Ottawa, and Montreal (my three teams) are all in the top 10. I'll post when the exact order is released, not that it matters to many, but it's cathartic for me, and typing this right now is helping to calm me down (REALLY hoping that Pittsburgh gets the #1 pick!!!).

Yelena Isinbayeva became the first woman in history to clear five metres as her domination of the pole vault continued at Crystal Palace on Friday.

It marked the 17th world record of her career and the second time she has set a new world best at the London meeting.

The 23-year-old cleared 4.96m - breaking her own week-old record of 4.95m - minutes before breaking the 5m barrier at her first attempt.

Isinbayeva entered at 4.70m, and also cleared again at 4.80m.

"It was very, very important for me," she told BBC Sport.

"It was my dream and my goal to be the first woman over five metres. I'm so happy that it's a reality, it's amazing."

And the Russian admitted that her next target is overtaking Sergei Bubka's total of 35 world records.

"I would like to have 36 world records," said the Russian. "It's my new goal."

    Right....

    Shame Powell got injured.

I was really sad that Powell couldn't run today. He is the world recorder in 100 metres.

Cool. They're obviously quite sad though. How much time must they have spent practising them? Unless they've seamlessly edited it. In which case, again, sad.

Professional basketball players couldnt make some of those shots (whacking it in off a skateboard, bouncing off a slanted surface, throwing while skateboarding and unable to even see the basket!!!)
I'd have to go with seemlessly, but expertly edited. Sad
But editing that well is just as astounding! Must be another explanation

The only thing that can save us is if the Aussies leave their declaration too late. They haven't made that kind of mistake in the past and I suspect they'll be poring over the weather stats right now. Doesn't hide the essential fact - we're not good enough- again.
