england need 2 more wickets in the morning to win this match.

    truly historic.

this morning it looked like the aussies would totally whoop england, they demoslished the batting order. freddie flintoff plaved superbly and got 70odd runs, keeping England in the game.

the aussies needed 282 to win.

freddie then bowled superbly and the aussies have collapsed to 174-8 at stumps.
So who do you think will win??

I'm just hoping that it isn't going to take England a long time to get into the swing of things tomorrow morning.
I was on the edge of my seat in the last hour. How tense do they want to make it for us. Very nice seeing Aus falling fast.

9.77 seconds and yes I'm from Jamaica.

I can do 400m in about a minute, at least that's when I used to train for middle-distance. Considering the fact I'm not that fit any longer, I'd say I probably would be around 14 secs for 100m.

OK, inspired by the 100m thread. I'd like to know any rowers or non-rowers' times doing 2000m on a Concept rowing machine.

This is probably more about nostalgia, when I was actually fit. Anyway, go ahead...

I'm around 7'20 although I like to think I'll be able to get under 7' with a bit of training.

I hope that England blast off the tail-enders early tomorrow so there won't be any nerves. To be honest, the sooner they get Warne out of there the better. The total that the aussies were set was pretty tough as apparantly they would have to post the highest 2nd innings total to win the match or something like that, but it's nice to see England proving that, and them and especially giles proving the doubters wrong.

    Flintoff for Pope!

More 6's than any other player in an Ashes Test and then he gets 4 wickets in 11 balls.

    What a man.

Wish i'd put some money on it after the 15th over, rather than just saying i had a feeling we'd win on TSR
