We need to come out on the 4th day and get a few quick wickets. I think Warne will give us a little bother though.
no he wont.he didnt give us much trouble at old trafford.(in bowling)

I was talking about his batting. He is very useful with the old bat.

the first innings was a golden duck- it happens to the best of them. He is on fire with the bat.

all the more reason to be on alert - he will be looking to make amends, as will Gilchrist, who amazingly does not have a single fifty in the series so far..

3rd day-not enough time to bowl him out but he managed to get some runs
4th day- rain, again there was not much time to bowl him out but he managed to get runs.it was coming to a wicket, but he was really lucky couple of times.
5th day- he was bowled out, because there was enough time.

Continually re-starting your innings as a batsman is actually quite a disadvantage... I'd say that we have to commend him for scoring so highly despite all the interruptions, especially as he's not a specialist batsman.

ok, but i still think that he wont give a problem at all.england are bowling very well - better than aussies.the person who can give problems is gilchrist.we need to get rid of him quickly.i think the play will end tomorrow evening or monday morning.even if aussies get 400+, england will only need 200 runs more and it wont be that hard to get, because at the moment aussie's bowling isnt impressive at all.

About Warne's batting: don't lose sight of the fact that he averages only about 16 through his whole career. Yes he's in good form lately, but he's not Don Bradman.

Isn't he joint-second (with McGrath) in the 'most ducks in test cricket' catergory with 33/34 ducks or something? I think Courtney Walsh had 44ish.

I agree...he wont be able to keep up the high scores, especially in the manner which he plays...maybe tempting him to hook more frequently to work though....
Claiming the aussie bowling attack is never not impressive is ridiculous though...they didn't seem to make an impression at all on englands first innings, and excluding lords, warne has only had the odd innings where he shone, lee was just as undependable, and gillespie, as agnew stated:

He looks like he should be wearing sandals, and he bowls like he actually is

    Walsh had 43, the record.

Its fair to say Warne has never done justice to his batting potential. Much like other great bowlers who weren't mugs with the bat - Wasim Akram springs to mind.

    COME ON U HULL!!!!!
The final was amazing (final score 25-24 to hull) every single player was outstanding and really deserved to win for the effort alone.

yup. leeds played very well, but hull outclassed them in willpower and sheer determination. i just hope we don't get the reverberations of this defeat next week...
