Boycott was a great batsman. Pakistan have found a gem in Asif. Tall, nippy, swings it too.

Asif, Gul, Arafat, Rana and Shoaib. Plus some other promising youngsters, the future looks bright.
For the best value, check out NSP boards. They are bulk made instead of custom, and are manufactured from slightly different materials. Because of this they are lot cheaper, but really, really good for beginners because they are stronger, i.e. can be battered about and not snap, like a custom board is more likely to do. Also, because mini-mals are like gold dust to buy second hand, they hold their value really well, so when you decide to upgrade to a smaller board, you shouldn't have lost too much of the money you paid out in the first place on the board. Go into your local surf shop and talk to someone who is actually an experienced surfer, they should tell you to buy a mini-mal because you get better buoyancy and can get into the wave easier, which is what you need to be doing to progress. Don't let them sell you anything below about 7' because you will get really frustrated in the surf and won't progress, and therefore the board will be a total waste of money!

Such a shame for Wales. England are on top-form.
Clay
Lets not forget Mike Hailwood, on the podium in his first few races for maclaren, then nurburgring.

But F1 isnt the same as it was then. And neither is motorcycling. They have grown further apart in the specialist skills they require. I certainly don't think its anywhere near as easy as once it was.

Its a whole different ballgame now
I'll second for that-be carefull if you're going around shops etc-go somewhere recommened cos there's loads of crooks out there trying to sell you whatever they can't get rid of, definitely don't go smaller than 7'3" and width is very important too-should be at least 21-22" wide and 2 3/4 thick ish.btw don't mean to be rude but how much do you weigh etc? bic boards are alright for learning too if you can pick up one cheap ish. When you buy the board if it's 2nd hand check for and open 'dings' these are just cracks in the board-but little scratches etc are fine, just make sure they haven't gone through the glass as water will get inside the board.
have a sieve through some websites and look at info for newbies

I'm surprised she beat sharapova by that scoreline. I hope she wins it!
I dont know but I am supporting SEATTLE because thats where Frasier is from

I have to be completely American tomorrow, should be fun
Hell yea! England were on amazing form come the second half, when everything settled...and once again a dodgy try decision at Lansdowne Road () - oh well - Ireland just about deserved to scrape a win...but without that try it would have been 10 points closer (really - there wouldn't have been the fighting if it they were close).

Cant wait to see the scotland match now - should be amazing.
Come on Italy, whip them froggies.
haha - that would be entertaining...

I can quite feasibly see scotland beating the french today too...fingers crossed eh

Helll yeaaaah! It'll be fun being American for the day.....i'm gonna have my Giants Jersey on (big Giants fan....and their jersey rocks!) and the stash of Gatorade imported from the States (courtesy of Ebay) has been put on ice.....antyhing else required to make this as American a theme as possible? I was thinking 'tailgating' in the back garden with some steaks......
I can't wait....should be good, it's always a great spectacle to say the least!!

lol, slightly more likely then Italy... I think our best bet's Ireland though. Wales are allowed to beat them now as well as we thrashed them.

come on the scots what a first half
So pumped for the game now! I just hope everything works out, or tomorrow will be painful.

Last night we encountered some guy from London that flew to Pittsburgh simply because he was a Steelers fan and wanted to experience the Super Bowl insanity here.

Are Scotland that good or are France that bad...only time will tell I think. They do miss Jauzion badly though.
