Doubt it running isn't that good for loosing weight really your best doing cross-training one or rowing they are good for calorie burning. The best ones in our gym go up to about 30kmh.
You obviously can't detect sarcasm. Plus you've just about supplied the gravestone for yourself, what speed do your treadmills go up to, 22 or 30 km/h, either way, you need to have one that goes faster than 30 km/h to do the distance in 56s

Right today at the gym whilst warming up I did a short sprint for 500m and it took me inbetween 40-50 seconds and noone believes me and I don't get why.
    because you didnt.

    observe:
    400 metres
    Michael Johnson - USA - 43.49 seconds.

now...do you expect us to believe you did 500 metres in a similar time on a treadmill? wise up

I don't really care replies like that come from people who are ashamed of their own bodies and capabilities checked again today it was actually bout 56 seconds not 40-50 I was reading the wrong dial at one point but today I did it in 56 seconds
    Sure it wasn't 1 minute 40?

500m at 22km/hr would take 82s which if you allow for some time to speed up from 16km/h to 22 km/hr would be reasonable.

500m at 30km/h (the fastest speed you've quoted so far) takes 1 minute, which is longer than 56 seconds (the slowest time you've quoted so far).

500m in 56s requires a treadmill capable of going at 32 km/hr. After a quick search on the internet I can't find any treadmills that claim to be able to go that fast.

I found out that University of Greenwich has a team, Greenwich Mariners, and you can join if you belong to one of the UOLs. They train at Crystal Palace, I think.
