I had a tenner on Scotland to win today ( earnt me £55 back ) and also stuck a tenner on Scotland to win the championship before the game ( which will earn me bout £400 back if it happens ) .

really throws the competition wide open. only really italy are out of it now. and as long as one team wins tomorrow in dublin 4 teams will have played 3 and won 2. makes for a very interesting last 2 games for each side.

allan donald was a legend. i still remember the 1997 series in england with him bouncing atherton from around the wicket just about every other ball. classic.
even tho i love watching runs being scored, fast bowling can be an equal treat at times...

Brett Lee or Shoaib Akhtar for me. Brett Lee can get emotional though so I guess out of the two it would be Akthar. Harmi can do a great job on his day though.

No worries.
Don't think this site favours boxing much. They fear its a sport that represents violence, when nowadays its completely the opposite.

Even normal folk are starting to appreciate boxing now after the Tyson era diminshed the sports reputation.

I'm disappointed, because I wanted Finland to win. It was a much better game than I expected though. Actually worth getting up for 8 AM.

i thought that sweden played a better match than finland did but finland has played better throughout the tournement.

last day today, what do you think about the olympics? many surprises i think, many winners that i didn't expected. for example i never thought that italy was going to do so well. don't get me wrong italy is good a sport but they have never been one of the best countries when it comes to winter sports.

I think in a tournament like the Olympics the adrenaline from playing before a home crowd can be very beneficial.

As for the Finns in today's game, the Finnish team was never able to establish a lead to just play defensively throughout the rest of the game. They went the entire tournament without trailing, and they were unfortunately unable to adjust fast enough to play some offensive hockey and come back. It's a shame because I wish old Teemu Selanne could have had a gold medal in what is surely his last Olympics.

Really don't mind that Finns lost. Our team is used to that already.
