    No Way???
Owen hasn't showed any spark the whole tour!
Corry at no8 against wellington was superb - being very commanding around scrummaging and, despite that idiocy of running for the line played fantastically. Also, his play at 6 isn't its best - he doesn't drive into his prop enough, so would not be of assistance at this position.
Surely you would have to go with Hill at 6 anyway - he's been looking superb.
I am not suggesting for a second that Easterby should start a test, but looking at the back row line up, who would you put on the bench if moody wasn't playing?
I also agree JW should have been taken - especially ahead of the two who have been flown out so far...but - if you think about it, corry was flown out late in 2001 and played in all 3 tests, so....

i dunno if hill has had enough big game time this year. am hoping that owen will recapture his better form.corry is good at eight but he'd be easier to move to blindside than owen would, (the loss of dallaglio really was a major blow). couldn't you put hill on the bench then? i know its very unpatriotic but im not an easterby fan. worsely would have been a better choice because he proved that he can play openside in the zurich final and would be good on the bench because he could cover all three positions.i would have worries about the choice of number 7, williams wasnt too hectic last saturday and i really think back is over the hill.

Well....despite thinking he's an uncompromiseable enigma of a player...i think Moody would be best on the bench - because he's the sort of "game breaking" player. I would also put sheridan and titteral there...just so you can bring more of different aspects to the game...depending on the current run...
I think back player pretty well - but i can understand your concerns for it...But as they have said...hill is one of the best in his position in the world...and with the back row that NZ will be fielding, you will need his big-game experience and reliability.
I think easterby has looked pretty solid since he arrived - williams despite being so impressive in the 6 nations has not looked on his form....and also if you want a man to take the cheeky plays and fight for the ball on the floor, hill definately outdoes him, and back may despite his advancing age on his good days...

hmm. you're a BIG hill fan. lets see what happens in the morning and see where we are then anymore injuries to the back row and we're snookered(there are a couple of good players left at home but at this late stage..).
on a different note- assuming paul o'connell starts at five, who do you think will partner him? i think donncha o'callaghan is doing a great job but i can only see him on the bench(despite the fact that he's my favourite player and of course a munsterman)

Ok guys. Thanks for your input. Seems like subforums are not too good an idea for the sports forum just now. Plus the fact that all the main people will probably boycott the forum or something in protest! :d. No subforums just now for sports!

i love wimbledon soooo much, tennis it the best game ever. its great watching all those hot guys sweating and groaning out there.
i really hope Marat Safin wins(i know he has no chance), but probs it will be federer
I can see him winning for the next 5 years and justine/sharapova
i agree with the dominant serve thing, after watching all the amazing rallies in the French open (nadal/puerta final) just watching the aces fly by will be so much lesss satisfying

im not sure on drugs and the law etc. but i thought possession would only account for having it, not after a certain amount of time in the blood stream...if mutu had caused an accident and tested by the police then he could get the 7 years. Besides cocaine passes through the system quickly (or so i heard) and he would have to be tested by police for it to be sentenced.

but i agree if a celebrity or a personal figure is caught breaking the law then they shouldn't get "special" treatment.

Well - i wouldn't say i was a big hill fan to the extent of being biased...i will admit he's not been playing his best - probably due to lack of game time - but he's still looked the most impressive and imposing of the lions back rowers!
I am not sure about who else will play second row...ideally i would see grewcock there...although his temper could get the better of him. But, he is solid and a good running player...although the fact that just like O'connell he is a specialist front jumper could count against him...
Shaw has also looked pretty fiersome (and i'm a big fan of the "jumping lock, angry lock" strategy), and Donncha has looked very good, but it will probably be Kay, just because of his extra jumping options, experience.etc.etc.

I like riding horses, but I haven't practiced the sport. It's real fun, wish that I had classes... but at the ranch that I want to take classes at, a friend is taking them there too .. so I don't feel really comfy because she is amazing at horse back riding. WOW.
    Should I?

Sure, she was a beginner once too. And once you've been going for a while you'll be able to go out riding together

I guess right now, the comparison is between Dwyane Wade and Lebron James. Carmelo plays in a team-oriented system.

Im sorry but being a Number 8 I just see Corry as a Donkey! Hill is superb, to the untrained eye you might be forgiven for thinking he isnt special.... I assure you he is!!

    Test Back Row:
    6. Hill
    7. Back
    8. Corry (D'oh!)
