    Hello,
I am a student in Aerospace engineering first year. Isnt there any opportunities of work experience/ conference days provided to students in their early level of studies? is there any helpful site any one know of?

Join a professional body (IMechE?) and see what they offer.

Go to your careers people on campus/at uni.

    Do a summer placement/placement year

    Ask for lecturers/personal tutor.

From what I've seen second year is the earliest I've seen people get internships, but it's mainly third year since you'll have the equivalent of an ordinary degree, and the companies will be able to actually use you.
