I'm thinking about doing A-Level citizenship - I'll have to do it independently and I've already got the textbook. However some say its 'weak' subject, and I have to say it looks very easy to me plus it could mean I get an A* in Y12

How would uni's view this - would it make me stand out? it'll be releated to what want study PPE and my future career teaching possibly citizenship and being a polictian.

and my other a-levels are maths, history, english lit and sociology so I've got 3 'hard' subjects if thats any use.

p.s. could anybody PM if the do Citizenship, particularly A2

i did A/s citizenship, as our school viewed it more better to take then doing general studies, as very little uni will take that, i think some will count it towards, but you can't use it as your 3 main A-levels

you could email uni's and ask them there view on the subject, on the view of it being easy put it this way, i didn't go to one lesson and got 99%, i did do A-levels politics so knew a lot of it :p:

I did AS Citizenship (I didn't think there was A2  ) Its better than general studies because most unis accept it even if they exclude general studies. Its still a dossy subject though. Quite interesting so I wouldn't say it was a waste of time.

Thanks for the comments - i know its fairly easy so I could have a good chance of getting an A*. Besides i've got a genuine interest plus I couldn't do politics so looks like a good option.
