I dropped a few things! Just that I havent watched anything since Thursday :erm:

Hangover was ok on Saturday (mostly because we kind of stayed drunk........I had a peartini for brunch :mmm: and then we were drinking from 3pm on)..........died a death yesterday though - had to be out of the apartment by 10am :afraid: Went and dumped luggage at one of the girls boyfriends flat and went to have greasy breakfast.........the rest of them then went to another pub as soon as it opened and tried to stay drunk to avoid the pain of flyinf hungover in the evening. I decided I wanted some fresh air so went for a wander up to the castle for a few hours  Have got the shakes today :giggle:

If tru was here, he'd make an irish joke :mmm:

Hey AMF. - Putting aside those that have recapped the series, which were enjoyable in their own way, I found Miss Lonely Yesterday sweet. I'm glad Tatsuya resolved his reasoning for playing baseball again, along with the girl who took an interest in him, if only to resolve her own internal conflict. I have yet to watch Kaze no Yukue, but I'll probably get around to that shortly.

I read that you weren't so keen on RahXephon, a series I rate highly. A hard man to please, indeed.

I'm keeping well, thanks. Seems you're keeping busy, which is the main thing.

I ended up chatting to Vay on MSN until six in the morning, much to my husband's dismay. He wasn't too pleased when I crawled into bed around 6:30 this morning, stating I hadn't slept yet. Oh well, it's not uncommon for me to lead this type of lifestyle in account of not having my job anymore. :giggle: - I'm just hoping that Vay will manage to get through his workday at John Lewis. He seemed confident that he'd get by easily, since cutting fish comes naturally to him apparently.

I haven't seen Miss Lonely Yesterday or the last two movies in the three part series. I had all of them downloaded, watched the first, but then I spilt cola in my laptop and I've never got round to downloading the other two after losing the data on that hard drive. :s-smilie: I heard from my friend that a fairly major character was missing in the last two movies, though, is it true?

It's probably the setting that I'm not keen on with RahXephon, but I'll probably finish it, given you've rated it so highly.

Back , sorry I had to leave so quickly, I didn't know you weren't in work anymore...although I don't really know a lot about what you do :s-smilie: so were you just on a short contract or did you leave a position you held? And :p: silly Vay...you can just imagine him cutting fish on autopilot and cutting through someones purse or something by accident :giggle:

Not that I'm aware of, but admittedly, I wasn't focusing that much during the first three because they were merely a recap of the television series. Miss Lonely Yesterday only featured the main cast, of whom Akio Nitta looked noticeably different, largely due to his change of hair style. If I'm honest, you're not missing much from watching any of these movies, although if you're a fan, which you are, they're worth watching for that reason alone.

I personally liked the setting. Well, I liked pretty much everything from that series, so...

I've worked as an art director in advertising and publishing, which is essentially a senior graphic designer. My latest job was for a small studio that's part of a much larger parent company in London, specialising predominately on working with clientele in the fashion industry. I was only due to work there on a temporary contract, but chose to cut this short in preparation for my immigration to NYC. My husband is a copywriter for a global advertising agency and has recently received a promotion at their NYC branch, hence I'm going with him. We weren't entirely sure when the new position will begin. It was originally planned from October to November, but has now been finalised for January. I had already given my notice to leave my job (probably a little preemptive), so I'm no longer working. It doesn't particularly bother me because I'm not financially obligated or anything.

For as long as I've known Vay, I can safely be rest assured in knowing that he if says he can do something without thinking, he probably can.

Did your friend care to mention what "major character" was missing? With the exception of the primary pair, the remaining cast didn't seem all that major to me.

Later AMF.
