On Tuesday I will enrol at a new gym and I'm going to do the ss routine. However I've never used freeweight before and I'm a little scared. However I've never used them before how can i prevent myself from getting an injury.
Search youtube to ensure that you are aware of the correct form.

I agree with the Youtube advice. Apply correct form and ensure you use a weight which allows sufficient stress and overload but isn't heavy to the point where you sacrifice form and cause an injury. Free weights have built alot of notoriety due to muppets not using them properly however applying correct form will ensure one will be absolutely fine. They are also far more effective than machines can ever be.
