I really cant get my head around how good Matt Bellamy performs Citizen Erased in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4R84e1HqvU)
From 3.30-4.25 is absolute bliss to me!

Anyone else have any other exceptionally good live performances like Radiohead's - Idioteque?

VNV Nation are amazing live. Ronan Harris got the whole crowd dancing, laughing, and singing along (and this is a mostly "goth" crowd we're talking about)

I know people critizise Beyoncé a lot because she can over sing songs (too much melisma etc) but as far as popstars go she is the queen of live. She never misses a note and it's just a big stage show! I would never go see her live though because her audiences often exceed 50k and that's just unreal, she would just be a dot in the distance so I might as well watch a DVD.

Last tuesday I saw Bloc Party live and I have to say that atmosphere was awesome. The last time they came to Aberdeen some **** threw a coin at Kele's head so the band walked off and this time he said he was having such a good time that they were gonna do one more song and Kele climbed into the balcony where me and my bf were and he ran right the way round (I even touched his hand, lol how sad).

Also, that live version of Idioteque is awesome.

I must admitt MUSE are quite possibly the best band i have seen live.
i saw The Prodigy at big day out 2009 and they were quite awesome, I was at one with the DJ.
Hot Chip also a mega high light!

Would like to see the Idioteque video, anyone have a link?

My two favourite live performances of all time are: Nirvana - Reading Festival, August 30 1997 and Rage Against the Machine - Coachella, April 29 2007.

Indeed, Pretty much any Springsteen performance on his Darkness tour (77 and 78 IIRC) is amongst the best.

I think all the camera angles make it more more amazing than it was TBH plus he was making stupid faces and facing away fro mthe crowd for large portions of it!
