I've got the casio Fx-991ES and I just brought it a few days ago and it is not giving me the answer to this question properly.
    Firstly the calculation is (4.25/19)*50.

I type in 4.25/19 and it comes up as 17/76 when I times it by 50 the answer comes up as 425/36 and then when I press 'shift' and '=' the answer comes up as 559.2105263 which is completely not correct. I definately know this is wrong and it happens for other calculation, but not for all. Thanks.

    I get 425/38 which = 11.18421053

You can use the fraction button 1st column 3 down, that helps sometimes when your doing big calc's.
And S<->D is 2nd column from right 5 keys down. That switches from 'improper' fractions to decimal, if you shift and sd it goes to 'proper' fractions.
