Im just curious, because of the decisions im having to make (and other people have to make too). Im thinking to myself 'whats the worst that can happen if i choose option X...'
which leads me to ask, in education have (m)any of you any personal regrets re decisions made, and therefore wasted time and money doing the wrong course??
Im interested, thanks for any insightful replies.

Me im doing a degree i dont really want to do and even if i dont get into medicine wont be using in a future career. Lab work just isnt right for me. TBH the worest that can happen is you ended up doing another degree to get into a field which requires a degree on the other hand a degree in any subject opens doors to many graduate careers.
