I'll make this short. Basically, there's a guy at my uni who lives in the block opposite me. We recently had a bit to drink and ended up kissing and cuddling in bed, and agreed that we should do it again. I didn't see him the next day, but the day after that he happened to be at my block after a night out. I was hammered, didn't realise what I was doing, and was apparently overly clingy towards him.

Ever since he's been avoiding me, bar once when I apologised and he laughed it off and said it was fine. Before then though it was so sweet! It was only last night, do I have any chance whatsoever? Or should I give up? (My blockmates don't think highly of him for what's happened.)

Just how clingy are we talking? I don't see how it could be so bad that you've completely ruined everything. Maybe he doesn't feel that way about you and because he's realised you like him he's trying not to give you the wrong idea. Sorry to be blunt and this might not be the case!

That's the thing, he always said he didn't want something serious and I agreed (just got out of a LTR) and the same night as the clingyness he asked for my number. And! After we all went to bed he text me asking to come over, which I was going to but he fell asleep half way through the textonversation. No idea about how bad I was, but everyone laughed when I came downstairs because it was just that cling.

don't worry, nobody would throw away a relationship (even if not serious) for something so petty.
