    Hi TSR,

I have a very good friend who wants to go on the X-factor next year!

I want him to go on but he fears that nobody will vote for him.

He is pretty unique, he will be dancing and singing to Bollywood which nobody does.

Here is the performance he will be mimicking:

I just want to know how many of you would actually support/vote for him.

Thanks for any replies in advance,

    He's a very good freshy dancer. :p:

The first question to be asked....

    Is he really any good?

    Second question....

If he is fantastic and does get put through to the live shows by the judges, will he be fine with being typecast in such a way that he will have to do a 'Bollywood' theme/slant on whatever song they pick for him. In the same way that Ray Quinn was with the 'Rat Pack' slant on everything.

If he comes on here asking for a vote then I'll vote for him. ^_^

As long as it's him, no fan imitation, like. :mmm:

Yes, he is pretty good. But he is a much better dancer. Expert in the Bollywood field. Would Britain's got Talent be better?

    Well Pakistan's got Talent, actually.

That lawyer guy and his friend did well on BGT didn't they, when they did an Indian (I think) slant on Michael Jackson. So I imagine if he had his own 'signature' thing that was funny/spectacular then I imagine BGT would be better.

    Oh I forgot to add....

Make sure he has a sob story about his pet goldfish being eaten by his pet cat, which was eaten by his pet dog, which was eaten by the lion that escaped from the zoo.

Otherwise he won't stand a chance.

He could also add that the lion bit his leg off and he managed to regrow it and he had to learn to dance all over again.

Just putting it out there :p:

    1. Tell him to go for Britain's Got Talent
    2. Make his act name a subliminal message to know he's the one, i.e. The Sun Ray.

You do know there is two stages before you even get to the auditions and see the judges?

Theres the producer stage and they tend to hand select a few 100 people from each venue and you get a golden ticket if you pass that stage to see the Senior Producers and then you get through to the actual auditions which we see on t.v.

Even really talented people sometimes don't get through to the Senior Producers. Plus from what the guy who won Britains Got Talent said, Syco take 90% of your profits.

I did mention BGT, but he said that considering the other more unique acts it's not likely that he'll get far. His main talent is singing, so he insists on X-Factor.

Sorry guys, I meant he's a better dancer than singer! I'm going to watch his performance tomorrow for a School Party.

    He's dancing to Bhangra. :woo:

He wants to go on X-factor for a joke, just to mess around because his singing is decent but he won't win the show.

I think he's going to go on Britains got Talent now because he's a really good dancer and will actually make it through. :yeah:
