    no, itll be worth it in the end. though i think that there is a line you can cross with it and that is when you are working yourself too damn hard and exhausting yourself, not good!

    Yes of course! ANYTHING done too much is harmful.

    By revising too much you can do all sorts of harm:
    - Driving yourself to insanity and a miserable mood (the worst I would say- you should be feeling positive in preparation for an exam)

    The first should be all the reason you need in itself, but there are others:

    - If you're trying to learn everything to the point that it's practically engraved on your brain, it'll be difficult to unlearn stuff if you learn incorrect material, which does happen more often than you think
    - Overrevising a particular course (or even a particular aspect of a course) can mean that you divide up your revision time fairly between all your courses
    - Using a really inefficient technique for memorizing stuff over and over again can actually make it more difficult for you to memorize stuff

    So, the point is, work hard and revise well, but in moderation!

    well if you've been revising and then you go outside and the light hurts your eyes, you know ya been revising too long

    Probably, if you start too early you may lose motivation close to exam time.
    Some people need to revise more than others though.
