sounds...nice. :lolwut:

I grudge paying an extra £25-50 for being catered when it's horrible!

probably cheaper than buying your own food though.

Hmm...people can get buy on £15 a week plus we have to buy lunches and Sunday supper.
TheUnbeliever
Eh, no.

Roughly how much are you spending on food a week? If you don't mind me asking.

No problem - I'm keeping a spreadsheet of rough expenses, which tells me I'm spending about £11/wk on food and non-alcoholic drinks.

That's some really good budgeting! Catered certainly isn't worth the money, especially for the food quality (well here anyway).

Has your SAAS came through yet? (see I'm being nosy again :p:)

No, but SAAS fobbed me off (electronically) to the SLC. I can't contact the SLC without a phone, and need to get time to ask to borrow a landline because it'll cost a fortune from a mobile. When I get through, they're going to catch hell.

Wow and your like a month in and it's still not sorted, that's ridiculous especially with lack of communication! Hopefully, it will be sorted soon.

Ape Gone Insane
Bloody hell.

What type of food do you buy?

1) Went for a bulk shop at Costco beforehand, which was jolly effective
2) I worship at the altar of Sainsbury's Basics
3) Whatever is on offer, if I'll use it, is mine

It's not an awfully varied diet, because it's light on meat and heavy on pasta, vegetables and bread - supported by the absence of an oven which precludes baking of any sort and quite a lot of ready meal type things. On the other hand, there's enough variation to be healthy, and it's certainly fairly cheap.

On the big list of 'pretty weird fetishes', Costco must rank fairly highly. :p:
