AAB and predicted AA this year. Wish I could have done some AHs too, but the college doesn't do them :frown: .

Nice! I have AAC and am predicted AAA this year :o: I'm predicted an A for AH English for some reason: no one else in the class is

Yes. I did it to spite you. :p:

What was it? :holmes:

Alphabetical order :p:

Aberdeen
Edinburgh
Glasgow
King's College London
St Andrews

all for straight English. A guy in my year has an unconditional for law at Edinburgh. My UCAS is being sent on Monday :eek3:

Wow - I would love that so much. What grades did he get? 5 As?

5 As after an appeal for Maths. He also has an interview at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge. :daydreaming:

You must be really good at English then! I wanted to do it AH to prove I was better then the B I got at higher- sounds a bit arrogant, a B is good, but I know I could have had an A if I'd put some effort into it and the 2008 close reading hadn't been nigh on impossible (for me anyway). What is your first choose, assuming you get 5 offers?

Searching "Paedophile" does not give you images of child porn, so no (searching whatever the name for this is), it wouldn't.

And have you searched "paedophile" lately, Ape? :p:

You're happy that you may never see him again ?

No, gushing about the fact that someone from our scummy state school has an interview at Cambridge :p: I'll never see him again in any case.

Thank you :colonhash: I know how you feel, I'd've been crushed if I hadn't managed an A (simply because it's the most relevant subject to my degree :p:).

If I get 5 offers, my head will explode, I'll spend months agonising over which to choose, and spend the next 3/4 years wondering if I've made the right decision.

If I don't get 5 offers, I'll be devastated that I didn't have that choice :p:

I don't understand. Cambridge have called him for an interview already? Do all the applicants get notices at the same time?

I don't know. All I know is his interview is on 4th December or something (not a terribly long way away). He looks like The Boy Eton College Forgot though, so I think he's going to do it.

My Geography teacher(s) said that if I don't get 80% in my Hydrosphere + Lithosphere NAB on Monday, they won't put down my predicted grade at an A. :sigh: My most loathed topic :frown:

Got any tips on how to memorise so much information? :awesome: I'm working so I'm scared that I won't study enough :frown:

In my NAB I can remember labeling a coastal diagram, wasn't hard at all! :p: Just memorise two or three features just now for each topic i.e. for coasts arches/stacks and then a feature of deposition, spits. Make sure you can do the diagrams though.

For hydrosphere, I expect it will just be the hydrological cycle which is easy to draw and explain the processes. Hydro-graphs are ok aswell, some questions basically so if you've done a few you'll be fine.

What is your description of the features like, have they been getting full marks?

Yeah, even though I am pretty sure where I want to be next year, I still want 5 offers so it's my choice rather than something that has kind of been forced upon me- if you know what I mean.

The Cambridge interviews are mostly spread over a couple weeks, and the interview invitations are spread over slightly longer that that. It depends on college and, to a much lesser extent, subject.

I think Oxford interviews are slightly earlier, but decisions are also made before Christmas, there. :console:

So, are you going to;

1) serenade him then make sweet love to him?
2) declare your undying, unwavering love?
3) ask him out?

4) watch him carry on pining for the girl he broke up with last year

Thanks  Most of them have, but I got 5/8 for my description of the hydrological cycle because "the diagram was terrible," even though I copied it FROM THE NOTES THEY GAVE ME. :facepalm2:

Do you know of any sites that describe coastal/erosion features to an idiot? The textbook is far too detailed and the teacher wrote "you've clearly copied this from somewhere" on my homework :facepalm2:
