Hey everyone. It seems, as I have found out a couple of days ago, not that many people do the Edexcel Nuffield Business and Economics course for GCSE. Just wanted to say that I did the problem solving paper today and i thought it was ok! What does anyone else think?

Good Luck for all your exams, 3 EXAMS LEFT WOO HOO!

    Yup, I did the paper.

In my opinion it was ok, I was loving the first 2 questions "List the Four P's" and the product life cycle.

However, was it just me or was an hour and a 1/4 too short?! I was literally still writing as time was up. I could easily have done with another 15 minutes or so, or maybe I just wrote too much.

Not sure how many marks I picked up in Section B..especially the McDonalds question!

Hopefully the final paper won't be too bad... Good Luck!

I totally agree!!! Those two questions were fabulous lol!!!! hooray! Section B was a little wierd, but wot i did for the McDonalds question was use the answers from all the McDonalds questions in Section A and bunged it into the last bit.

By the way, i also totally agree with the time limit! I was writing till the last second, still finished tho, but i think an extra 15 minutes would have been nice. they actually expect you to read through the sources for 15 minutes.....if that happened no one would finish the paper.

it was an ok paper, i thort it was gonna be nasty. but with all these exams, if one paper is ok, the other isnt. so im totally expecting wierd questions and maybe the 14marker ones on unemployment etc.

Also, was it just me, or did u use the word market saturation like a billion times throughout that exam. hahaaha

I've still got three to go, have u finished all yours now???

Lucky you! Our first piece of coursework was about a sandwich bar we had to design and analyse, we didn't have a choice either.

I'm hoping the final paper will be ok, at least you get to choose the questions you want to answer. So you should be able to pick the ones in which you have the most knowledge. Hopefully it will be alright!
