Very dull. With every album they produce they push so much harder for mainstream success that they sacrifice creativity. Parachutes was excellent and really made me want to hear more of them, Rush of Blood had its moments, but there isn't much to distinguish X&Y at all. Apparently it was supposed to be their OK Computer, but they chickened out at the 11th hour, hence the delay. I just hope that someday they get some balls and take the risk. Could be the difference between them going down in history as a great band and a successful one.

Haven't actually heard X&Y the whole way through yet but I'm inclined to agree.
