A2 Chemistry Project - Ideas anyone?

Hello all, I'm starting in A2 chemistry and everyone in my class has been asked to think of a major project to do in October time which will last for 5 weeks. However chemicals etc... need to be ordered by the end of July.

I'm really stuck as for ideas about what to do. I've been informed I can do a project investigating reaction rates but I've done reaction rates to death as far as I'm concerned throughout my chemistry career so would be willing to find something different and interesting!

The only advice I've been given from my teacher is that I must be able to draw lots of numbers from the investigation.

I'm on the Salters Horners course if thats of any importance to anyone. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I did salters OCR, and I did different methods of finding the concentration of a solution of copper ions. Really good one to do, imo

I did finding the purity of Aspirin pills for Salters OCR - 3 brands were tested.
I did a back titration, forward titration and colorimetry. The actualy practical side took 2 weeks - worked out at about 15 hours in the lab.
Lot of number crunching as well as a fair bit of research. If you want to see the first few pages of my plan to get an idea as to what it's about pm me and I can email them or something.

Yep i do Salters and I did the concentration of aspirin in tablets too
It's highly recommended by the exam board as it gives you access to the higher marks but does not involve an overly complicated method
I also synthesised my own aspirin (rather more complicated but still doable) and tested the purity of that too
I did titrations, iron III chloride solution, TLC plates... that sorta thing
If you want to look over my stuff then after Aug 18th when i get my grade i'll happily send you some stuff
