I don't have freckles, so you can go and bash me now for saying this: but why do you want to avoid them? I think freckles can look very nice! It's not like this is something to be ashamed of or that makes you look less beautiful... do you really hate your freckles that much?

awww... come on! I'm sure you aren't 'ugly', you probably just need a little more self confidance, that's all -- confidance is very attractive

umm... I think there's a laser treatment to get rid of them, my dermatologist has crushed my hopes though by saying that it doesn't stop them from returning...

    Seriously its not worth it!

I'm sure you're drop dead georgous anyway.
If you think you come across too "cute" I'm sure you could change that by the way you dress, act, etc.

    Best wishes

It is difficult to avoid them, but you can reduce your chances of getting them by avoiding direct sun exposure. Use a high factor facial and body sun protector spf30+, wear a hat with a brim to keep the sun off your face and try to avoid sunbathing between the hours of 11am-3pm. The same applies if you want to reduce your chances of getting freckles on your body. As well as, cover up in loose, cool, cotton or linen clothing when in the sun.
