# C2 question, area/perimeter watch

1. let π = pi

p = 2πy + 4y + 2[(100 - πy²)/y]
how can i get this to this bit:

p = 2πy + 4y + [(100 - πy²)/2y]
2. How would that be possible?

One's divide by 2, and the other's multiply by 2 [only considering the last term]

Unless I'm missing something...
3. Are you sure typed the question right?
4. yep, the question must be wrong then. I've been looking at that bit for like 40mins
5. c2 practise papers - the last one, last question 9c)

There a diagram and stuff onit so i can't really post it.
6. Paper 7?....There isn't any 9c)
7. paper5 edexcel from the milli site

btw, i made a mistake and the bit in the markscheme was really faded out so it was both my fault and the markschemes fault
