    a) we don't have AC's (except in cars)

    b) if there's a thunderstorm on sunday, and hot on Monday, you can see that we're not used to a change in temp
I dont have AC either.

in manchester tomorrow it's 24 degrees but a thunderstorm... yayyyyyy

but on monday and tuesday - it's 23 but no clouds..

    eeek
I check the temperature at Portland Tower in Manchester today and it was 33c, even by ten o'clock tonight expect it to be at least 25c.

Also in this country when we get heat its very very humid, 30c in Spain dosn't feel anything like as hot as 30c in this country.

Its a different kind of heat.

For anybody coming to the UK and want to know about temperatures are some facts.

    http://uk.weather.com/weather/climatology/UKXX0085

In June to September is quite common for the temperatures to above 30c especialy in the sun, I think 40c was the maximum ever recorded in this country and that was in 2003.

Its also not unusual to get cold days in the summer, so it can go as low as 12c though its rare. It it goes below 17c at this time of year its considered cool.
