So when do you think well get information from the Unis about freshers, where stipends will be paid etc (like bank accounts) and days we can meet fellow candidates on the 'course'

In August at the earliest, I imagine...
I checked my institution's website and found that they published these info in mid-to-late August last year. Of course things may differ from institutions to institutions...

And unbelievably four months later I came off the waitlist! Literally two days before my course start date lol.

Slightly panicked because I don't currently live anywhere near my institution and didn't make plans to move since I couldn't take up my offer without funding (and I assumed I wasn't getting any at this point), so that's going to be a real rush for me, but mostly just overjoyed and excited - this was my second application cycle and I wasn't really looking forward to my third even though I was fully prepared for it. Hang in there guys there's always hope <3
