    yea i dont think any ATP is formed the overall reaction that makes up the link reaction is

    pyruvate + CoA + NAD ---> acetylCoA + reduced NAD + CO2

    then acetylCoA fed into the Krebs cycle ( which produces 1 ATP per pyruvate molecule, therefore 2ATP per glucose molecule)

    The reduced NAD formed goes on to produce 3 mols of ATP in the electron transfer chain but there is no substrate level phosphorylation in the link reaction

    During the link reaction Pyruvate produced in glycolysis is dehydrogenate , decarboxylated and combined with CoA to create acetyl co-enzyme A. This then enters the krebs cycle.

    hope it helps.
