gossip_girl - an inspiration to us all. Anyway, back to the thread title. Anyone know what the biggest park in the UK is?

Birkenhead Park..... 
Yep its the biggest park in Europe, its actually in Blakely and not Preswhich (you can tell I am from the other side of Manchester

Thats what I thought too, I know its controlled by Manchester City Council though, isn't Preswhich in Bury?
It could be like Longford park near me, its technicaly in Trafford (Stretford) but a of the physical bounderies are in Manchester (Chorlton).

Prestwich is close to Bury... not sure if it's in Bury as such. Anyway, as such a big park, I think it's in a number of areas.

the play area is horrible.
the lake is not there, they have removed the water so they can clean the lake out.
