Some Manx phrases for you all to muse over:

Mooinjer Veggey ("Mun-ja vegga") - Little People (aka fairies)
Moghrey mie ("Morra my") - Good Morning
Fastyr mie ("Faster my") - Good Afternoon
Oie Vie ("Ee vie") - Good evening/night
kys t'ou? ("Kiss too") - How are you?
Braew, gura mie eu as shiu hene? ("Brow, gurra my you as shoo heen") - Fine thanks, and you?

    Enjoy!
    Mooinjer Veggey - Muinntear Bheag
    Moghrey mie - Maidinn Mhath
    Fastyr mie - Feasgar Mhath
    Oie Vie - Oidhche Mhath
    Kys t'ou - Ciamar a' tha thu?
Braew, gura mie eu as shiu hene ? - Gu math, tapadh leibh agus sibh fhèin?

Phonetically Manx and Scottish are very similiar but on paper they almost look unrelated.

Manx -being revived i believe- (Gaelg).
Yes its being revived. Its in a somewhat similiar position to cornish although considerably healthier in that its a standardised language and there is a direct living link to the last native speakers. The fact that the population of Man is so english does hinder the revival process i believe.

Nah the correct Scottish pronounciation is Gah-lick.
Yup, that's how the 'proper' speakers say it, lol.
