Righty quick question. When you are trying find the pivotal row, you do the RHS divided by the value in the pitvol column. You then chose the smallest answer as the pivotal row, but what are the restrictions? eg not negative values or zero etc??

    Cheers.

i highly doubt that there would a 0 for the theta value.
i have never come across one that is but if for som reason it comes up, i would prob leave it and go for another one.

I too am not so sure bout this.

ok i just found one that did, sorry but that earlier,
If the theta value is zero then u ignore it.
It has to be the least positive theta value and does not include zero.

then u might have done something wrong with the calculations.

If all else fails, the question would end there
