# P2 Trapezium Rule watch

1. hi
could u ppl pls verify the following;
strips= trapezium= interval?

and if there are 5 trapeziums, that means 6 ordinates rite?
thanks
2. being more spsific

width of strips = interval (however this is the perpendicular height of the traps)
remember in the formula to use (h/2)

With 5 traps you will have a first, last and 3 central values (which are x2 in formula)
3. so if u split the area under a curve into 5 intervals, then that means 6 ordinates, i.e. u need 6 values of x and y?
