    Find the x cordiantes of the two points hwere the line 2x+y=7 meets the curve x(y-20)=9, giving your answers to 2dp.

    I got integer answer so i assume i must of gone wrong, can someone correct me.

    x(7 - 2x - 20) = 9

    2x^2 + 13x + 9 = 0

    x = [-13 ± √(169 - 72)]/4 = [-13±√97]/4
