    anybody got english comparision text

    exam tues 21st??

any comparisions u wanna throw me to scrawl in my book before the exam??

I have wjec elit5 on tuesday too. However its the Sons and Lovers (D. H. Lawrence)/ The Island of Apples (Glyn Jones) paper.....at least people have heard of both the novels you're studying! There are only about 5 articles in the public domain about IOA....and they expect us to include some critical opinions in the essay.

complaint over. sorry I couldn't help! try sparknotes! the questions will probably be on either the main characters and relationships, presentation, use of location, or the beginning/ending, knowing the wjec's absurd tendancy to ask a boring, generalised questions, so just think about those as you work your way through the novels. Also, on the wjec website, they have examiners reports from last summer. any criticisms they make about gaps in the candidates knowledge of the novels, might appear as the focus of questions this year.

thank u thats great! good luck with your exam!

you too! it shouldn't be too arduous. it's an hour and a half, so even if the question seems quite daunting, there would probably be enough time to read a couple of chapters at the start of the exam.
