    aaaaaaaah, so if n=20, the answer to part (c) would be £1042000, somfing like dat neway. I did n=19 and i was going to add on the £35000 for yr 2005 but neva did, had i did that that would have given me the correct answer, from memory, i wrote £1007000 i fink. But oh well probbaly lost few marks

    i used n=19 at first. then if you count the no of years it makes sense its n=20. so i changed it. it is n=20. alot of ppl i know got n=20

    WELL GUYS... today my S1 teacher went through the S1 paper... and the teacher for C2 will go through it tomoz... so tomoz watever he says i shall believe, ie for n=19/20, coz he is GENIOUS lol!

    (a) 50 doing arts..

    (b)... 23/50

    (c)... 57/74 ... [something close to that.. cant remember exactly]

    (d)... [no time to go through it!]

    i think n=20 z the correct one
    because the no. of terms is calculated using (last term- first term +1)
    which z 24-5 +1=20

    yeah coz... 2m/s, for 1 minute= 60 secs... so

    2m/s * 60 s = 120m!... * the 42.XX m^2 = 5XXXm^3 ?

    the ones i remember agree with yours. except for 10. the area you talk of - is that the part that is shaded and labelled "R"? i believe i got 6.75 for that.
    although...i also did C3 that day so i may be getting confused.

    you had to do the area of trapeze - area below curve (between 1-4)
    which gives you:
    0.5x(5+3.5)x3 - 6
    12.75 - 6
    = 6.75

    Ahhhhh the S1 paper. I never saw "Question 7" till literally two minutes before the end. :mad: I nearly killed myself when I realised.
