    Well, how did the OCR Pure Maths 5 go for you? I thought it was okay, and managed to end up with the right things for all the "Show that"s. Here are my answers as stored in my calculator:

    Q1. 0.95 for Euler's method, 0.951 for the modified Euler's.

    For the differential equation, I got a PI of θ=0 and CF of
    θ=Ae^(-t) + Be^(-0.25t)

    Then A=-π/12 and B=π/3 for the next bit.

    I got 1.521 for the Newton Raphson question.

    I got 12 as the length of the line section.

    For the last question, I got I1 = -(1/(2e))-(1/2)
    I3 =-(1/e)-(1/2)

    Disappointingly easy!

    Your answers all look fairly familiar but your answer for the very last question can't be correct since it's negative and I3 was x³ exp{-x²} between 0 and 1 wasn't it?... Which is all above the x - axis.

    It was ok I guess....managed to get some kind of answer for all the questions I think- although my graphs were a bit messy. I think my answers were similar to yours although I never remember my answers very well! The arc length question I think I may have got 18(pi)....well I got that for something!!! For the inductive formula question I think I got I(1) to be 1/2(1-(1/e)) but don't remember I(3). I wanted more hyperbolic questions and less graph sketching though! x

    Yeah, other people at school had that one different. Never min - it wasn't too many marks, and I got the 6 part bit in the middle.
