Faure's requiem is brilliant isn't it
It's the one I've sung / played most, but I still look forward to performing it. I particularly like the Baritone Solo.

Do you mean the A major Piano Concerto?, if not you should give that a listen anyway. Quality.

Sry, I wasn't trying to undermine you! It's just that I did the Concerto alongside the Berlioz, etc.

    It's ok lol.

    I didn't do Berlioz for A-level.

    My works were:

AS - Mozart's Sonata in A major, Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture, Handel Coronation Anthem - The King Shall Rejoice

    A2 - Stravinsky's Firebird.

ah think imay have read things wrong....i also did the mozert piano concerto - not sonata as i originally said!

our thrid one was schubert's unfinished symphony, which we also played in orchestra that year. However, Berlioz's symphony will always remain as a firm favourite...it really is a brilliant work.

    Sorry for delay in replying.

I hate Edexcel too but have no choice really.

They sent us January 05 CD's for the June 05 exam last year and teacher had to go to neighbouring school (20 minutes drive) to get some June ones (luckily they had 5 spare and we had 5 people taking the exam). Because the exams officer isn't meant to listen to them (has to listen for a few seconds to make sure they work) he never realised they were Jan 05 and it said on the covers June 05.

    Silly EDEXCEL!!
