There's no World Music Soc so I'm putting this here-

I'm fairly sure classy gentlemen such as yourselves would appreciate this beast of a concert, anyways.
Fantastic :yy: I've heard the singing technique before in isolation but not in an ensemble.

Here's a classical/"world" crossover. Argentinian Tango legend Astor Piazzolla played by Yo Yo Ma

I haven't listened to Astor Piazzolla's music in like two/three years. Feels good.
Yeah, Huun Huur Tu and the Tuva Ensemble have quite a bit of material on Spotify and YouTube if you were looking for more. I don't understand why more people haven't listened to this style of music .

Personally I’m in love with classical music for a long time already. Since my early childhood I think. And of course I have few favorite compositions till now. So my favorites are:
    Faure – Pavane
    Mahler&Schnittke – Piano Quartet in A minor
Mozart – Requiem Mass in D minor by
Debussy – “Rhapsodie” for alto saxophone and piano or orchestra
And recently I heard that violist Maxim Rysanov has issued a new disk of Beethoven’s compositions in collaboration with Kristina Blaumane and Jacob Katsnelson, which I’ve already found at onyxclassics site and now it is also one of my favorites!

^ That mention of Beethoven's chamber works reminded me of the Grumiaux/Haskill recordings of the Violin Sonatas. Haven't given them a listen in AGES.

I've probably posted this before but IDGAF.

The Magic Flute is my favourite opera of all. This is the best version of it that I've found on YouTube so far, and I think all the performers are superb. Diana Damrau as the Queen of the Night is amazing throughout but her performance of the Queen's first aria at 24.40 is beautiful!

I use madcow 5x5 but tweak it a bit when I need to (such as adding speed work, changing rep ranges and schemes, assistance etc)
