    Right, heres the question.

I need BBB to get into Glasgow this autumn. What if i don't get it? Does anyone know how lenient they are? Are most Universitys lenient if you don't get the asked grades?

I dont know about glasgow specifically but i think there is a bit of leniency but it really depends on circumstances. For example if you get ABC they may let you in despite the C....but it depends on how popular the course is, what grades you get and how much they want you as an individual.
What you need to do is ring them up as soon as you get your results, hope that helps and is correct! peacenik x

I'm worried, for the same reasons as you, except I'm scared I won't get a B in politics, which is what I applied to do! I got a B at AS level(just) and I don't have any idea what I got for my coursework, and I'm absolutely crapping myself over the exams I;'ve got next week.. I feel like I don't know anything.

    Why was history so bad?

Just everyone came out talking about what they'd written and i didn't seem to have written the same thing. Yesterdays exam was a nice paper, but i feared that i stuffed that up too...i was so tired by the time i got to that exam i just couldn't be bothered really

i think in general glasgow will be wanting as many students as possible! Due to the uni being rediculouslyin debt, it needs as much money as poss lol-but yes there is some leniency me thinks.

Did you see that the GUU might be getting closed down and put into housing because of the debt?

Well it was in the sunday papers-about the GUU

and the dinosaur-because my mates heard about it-folk kept braking off its wee arms-and so when they replaced it it cost them £2,000 or something each time-cos it has to be specialist folk who come to do it.
