Hey well Meiosis is when daughter cells are produced: I think if u just learn these steps ull be fine we'll thats wat I am banking on:
Early Prophase 1:
Here each chromosome makes 2 chromatids and then two centrioles move on either side forming a spindle.
Late Prophase 1:
Then each chromatid crosses over exchanging DNA.
Metaphase 1: Here the Homologous Chromosomes lie parallel to each other across the equator.
Here the corresponding Bivalents are pulled to either side (poles)
Now at the point of the equator the cell divides into 2 daughter cells.
Now here the single Bivalents lie across the equator.
Then the spindle contracts pullin apart the single chromosomes to either side.
Here the cell splits at the equator forming 4 Daughter Cells.
