Me too! But it must be so much worse for people waiting for the REAL letter...

Oh god, I can't even imagine :| Hadn't even thought about that...ooh oh :]
I hope we find out in the next few days - I need to arrange travel and stuff from Scotland XD

On that note, I was reading all the diaries from people to participated last year, and they're all mentioned that they hopped on the train/bus that morning. I can see myself turning up with 11+ hours on train on me, under-slept and over-caffiened - just how I always imagined my first impression to Cambridge to be
Should be fun. :h:
Got an email from the scheme, wont hear any results for another few days :frown:
Isn't that when they said we'd hear before?

(Also, I love how you put a sad face next to a B :P)
Ahaaaa I was hoping there was other people who've applied on here  i applied for Modern Languages and Poltiical Sciences, a few friends have also applied. I need to know soon so i can beg for the weekend off work :O
I'm Politics too!!

I seem to be the only person that's the only applicant for this in their school :s-smilie:

Is it just me who actually finds it really annoying that they keep on sending emails just to say "we're not sure yet"? Everytime I see a new email from them, I get butterflies in my stomach...and it's always over nothing ):

I applied for Philosophy with SPS as a second choice. Really hoping I get in because I'm not even sure what course I actually want to do at uni and this seems like the best way to find out...

Same, my phone's linked up with my email account, so I'll check my phone at break, see an email from Joe Farish, and it's just "Please be patient, there are a lot of applicants..." etc, just want to know now!
^ I think that's probably because they've had a lot of people being impatient and trying to contact them.

Yeah, they should have tried to plan it out better, rather then extend the deadline all the time. I applied to do Maths, and Natural Sciences as a back up and I need to find out soon becuase I need to start planning travel arrangements.

What did you apply for, Hope you get on to the scheme!
PPS  It sounds like my absolute, perfect course!

I've put Law as a back up.

I hope you get it too

You live in London....I live in Northern Ireland, do you not just have to hop on a train, I will need to book flights etc.

Sorry to hear that. If you get it, can't you get the cost of the flight cut down by them, i think on the website they said that they could do that for certain cases, ie if you live far (Scotland and Ireland). What did you apply for

I'm in a similar position - trains/flights get more expensive every day you leave it

I think they only do that if you EMA which I don't, I appplied for medicine 1st and then veterinary 2nd. Would really like to go bt they arent giving us much time to organise it all and the flights are becoming more expensive every day...

I'm quite relaxed and was wondering why everyone was getting so panicked and nervous. Then I realised how far some of you live. It's mind boggling. I only live in London. And also I'm fairly sure I'll get in as I have both EMA and neither of my parents went to Uni though I did apply for the dates just before the February half term which looking back wasn't a great idea as they probably are the most popular dates. They did underestimate the popularity of this thing massively though especially as it's been 3 weeks past the deadline now.
