Righto here it is. People seem to have much to say on the pathetic little corporal, whether it be good, bad, or simply ugly. So here we go. First question I'd like to raise is why Hanfstaengel decided to make something of him and then back out in the mid 1930s anyway?

Hitler was an exceptional person but he had what seems like some really crazy ideas. Obviously some Jewish person pissed him off at some point thats for sure.

Yeah, he was in hospital recovering from gas when that happened apparently. Many refer to that time as his 'road to damascus'

Hitler had charisma and was successful for nealry a decade with fanatical supporters and complete power. However, he lost mainly cos he was mad (a genius?) and decided he was better at fighting battles than his generals

I don't think he was a genius. Hell of a politician... yes. Genius... no. It is widely accepted that he had lost his grip on reality by mid to late 1943. He basically suffered from 'Hubris' (believing ones own publicity) and thought that he, the little Corporal, could run campaigns better than serving Generals. Sad really. He could have had so much more if he'd made a few smart decisions, but they weren't his ideas so they didn't count most of the time. A good run of luck got him as far as he did.
