    You won't have time to do all the papers, so I would do the specimen and mock first, then the Edexcel practice papers, then the Solomon ones. That's already like 20 papers, so if you have spare time, I'd probs have a look at the Zig Zag ones.

    I like to integrate and then apply the limits, to get the hard stuff out of the way right at the start.

    ∫[2/(x-3)] - [1/(x+4)] ∂x => 2ln(x - 3) - ln(x + 4)

    Now the limits are 2 and 0:

    (2ln(1) - ln(6)) - (2ln(3) - ln(4))

    => ln(1/6) - ln(9/4)

    => ln(2/27) ≈ -2.60626...

    Is that right?

    That is a brilliant idea.

    It could be a revolutionary new way to store the exam papers away from bots from search engines etc. Especially with 2GB+ storage.

    Just drew that graph on autograph, and it looks wierd lol, and it does not particularly want to draw the integral graph, so I drew it on myself :p:

    Don't they sometimes come out negative if they are under the axis?

    Edit: the post this refers to as disappeared.

    yep that's right, the answer was ln [2/27]

    how did you get to this stage (2ln(1) - ln(6)) - (2ln(3) - ln(4)) from 2ln(x - 3) - ln(x + 4)

    oh how stupid of me, you just put 2 and 0 in.

    It's negative because the limits are the bit where the curve is below the x-axis i think.
