    wot kind of a disease makes your urine taste of mayple syrup as in the unit 5 bio paper!!

    I would guess something like a form of diabetes where you can't convert glucose to glycogen so it stays in the blood and passes into the urine

    You would lough but there is such thing as MSUD (maple syroup urine disease). It has sth to do with amino acids actualy not sugars. The specific odour is camic from derivative of isoleucine which is one of branched chain amino asits that cannot be broken down due to lack of certain enzyme. I cannot belive they have asked a question about that on an exam peaper! How are you supposed to know that?
