I have to write my personal statement next week at school, and have absolutely no idea where to start, what to write etc. I am applying for vet nursing. I would really appreciate some help!

Just start with whatever part you like - I found writing about myself the easiest part  (we've just started ours). I would start by planning out the general structure. Something like:

    1) Why Vet Nursing, the skills you have.
    2) Work Experience and any other work with animals (inculding pets)
    3) About your extracurricular activities, school clubs etc
    4) Summing up statement (like two lines) about why you'd be a fantastic vet nurse.

As to the actual start of the PS, in your first draft, just say whatever, even if it sounds awful. Plenty of time to tweak it later, but if you get hung up over the first line, you're not going to get very far! Try here for advice on the first line.

Hope that helps - don't know very much about Vet Nursing specifically.
