So people, who has a synoptic style question or two to post up to give us all a bit of practice with the impending doom?
If there are any past synoptic papers people wouldn't mind copying questions out of, or attatching (say you could scan it in or something?) I would be very grateful.
Specifically, I'm taking the Salters Horners synoptic on the 27th, but I guess they're all similar. Let's have some fun.

A diffraction grating is used to measure the wavelength of a line on a spectrum. The grating has 600 lines per mm. The angle of diffraction of the second order was 35.8 degrees.
i.Find the wavelength of this line.
ii.Energy in eV of a photon of this wavelength
