According to statistical surveys, when asking girls whether penis length or penis girth (girth is circumference) matters the most in sexual intercourse, 72% said that it was the thickness that mattered most.
* Of course, one has to be sensible about this. If your penis is 2 inches erect then having good girth won't make up much for it! On the other hand, if it's really long but thin, then that's a downer...
Although there seems to be some variation regarding the average length of a male penis, here are the facts. Surveys requesting penis size anonymously and measured by the man himself, tend to give an average penis size of about 6.2 inches. It is obviously believed that some exaggeration has played a part in these measurements. In contrast, the average penis size when batches of men have been measured by doctors has given an average of around 5.9 inches; although clearly more accurate as it isn't liable to exaggeration, there is also the factor that one has to be comfortable enough about their penis size to come forward and get measured in the survey; this usually correlates to length so again there may be slight exaggeration. Thus, the average is thought to be believed to be about 5.7 inches, and this average is thought to be quite accurate.
Penis size is measured from the point where the penis intersects the pubic region/stomach to the tip of the penis.
There are also deviations amongst different races. White males have an average of about the overall average length, whereas black males are about half an inch above and chinese males are about half an inch below. So the stereotype of "black have big cocks, chinks have small dicks" has some truth in it.
As for penis girth, the average for men is 4.9 inches. However, remember, if your penis is longer than average and you have average girth, then your penis will be slightly thin and the vice versa applies; it's relative to the length in determining whether its thick. or not. This is measured around the point where the penis is thickest; this is usually the base, but can vary from man to man. About 25% of men have a penis that is of constant thickness from base to tip.
In conclusion; size doesn't usually matter unless you're at the extremes (I'd consider this as under 3.5 inch erect and above 8 inch erect) and if you're within this range then there is no reason to feel that you can't have sex comfortably; you can hit the G Spot with an under 3 inch penis (really!).
But also remember, that what's more important than penis size, is:
- Your face
- Your body
- Your confidence.
- Your personality/character.
