Actually, my alternate is at Christ Church, and starts exactly 70 minutes after my St. John's interview does. Anyone else have such a close spacing?

No, no and thrice no! If you read that link again carefully you'll see that they hope to send notifications out a week before (at the top of the page). You get your time with your invitation. There is no firm deadline for them and no guarantee they will meet their own aspirations, and no account taken of delays in the post. In fact, dispatch on 7 December would allow for delivery on or before 10 December in normal circumstances.

Of course, many colleges will be ahead of this timescale but don't expect them all to be.

Got an invitation for EEM interviews at St. Catz and St. Anne's

I am really nervous now, I will get 4 interviewers for 1 St. Catz interview. Not only that I will get engineering and economics at the same time and I have to make sure that I don't stray off to economics too much or else it defeats the purpose for applying to this course and will reduce my chance. Anyone else doing EEM?

I did not do any preparation recently due to various courseworks. Although I happen to get a maths coursework, which is basically an engineering design for a freight elevator...very convenient.

I live like half way across the globe and I still haven't applied for visa b/c I still don't have an invitation.

If I may say so, that is very remiss of you. I'd be surprised if you now had time to get one; they usually take several days to organise.
