    Its long and theres a lot of stuff that pre empts the point where JVJ beocmes mayor. I think theres a narrative about the bishop of digne. Also theres are parts such as the bit where JVJ is buried alive to escape from Javert, that dont even get mentioned in the musical. The book is sadder even than the musical but also lets you see how appropriate the ending is.

    I'm more interested in the love triangles I think, hehe. :rolleyes:

    To be honest i havent read it all the way through but there is a lot more detail, apparently there are more complications to the love story, such as Marius' wealth and an arranged marriage(?). Just as moving and heartbreaking as the musical.

    What's this about Marius in an arranged marriage in the book?
    The book is a hideous read 99% of the time, but it's still Les Mis

    Cool, i was going to do it but my poor voice couldnt reach the last line considering i was still in bass mode its no wonder. Great well done for you it is a hard song to nail perfectly.
