I want to join the society. Les mis is one of my favourite musicals, it is superb! Favourite character is Javert and favourite songs are Stars, and Bring him home. Went to see Les Mis this summer (August I believe) and saw the most amazing Valjean ever. His version of Bring him home was the best sung song I've ever heard in my entire life, it was absolutely breathtaking, and ensured a standing ovation by most of the audience! Amazing for a Wednesday matinee!!

I definitely want to join! I love Les Mis - I've read the book too but I still prefer the musical. I'm going to see it on the 30th of December and I can't wait!

... like I am! :p: You did better than I did though, it took me 2 months to get through The Brick (or so I call that two-thousand page book). I liked learning more abuot the characters, which are a bit glossed over in the musical, but it's still a bit of a pain when Hugo kept on going off topic. The Waterloo chapter... *shudder*

And Les Mis is definitely better than Phantom!

OMO is sung so much lately that so many people murder that song... As well as Castle on a Cloud and I dreamed a dream.

    What are people's favourite songs?
